Case Overview
The company we worked with is an IT agency that has been providing front-end and back-end development services since 2012, as well as offering custom analytical solutions, mainly serving clients in the USA. The collaboration started in early 2024, and in a short period, we were able to eliminate the key issues the client faced. The main challenge were finding high-quality and niche platforms for link placements. Before reaching out to NeedMyLink, the client had worked with several intermediaries, but the results did not meet expectations. The lists of platforms provided to them were too monotonous and did not meet their requirements. These resources could not provide the necessary conditions for effective link-building, which seriously limited the company’s growth potential and visibility in search engines.

In addition to the above-mentioned problems, the client faced several other challenges that hindered effective promotion. First, there was a weak diversification of the backlink profile. It lacked additional links such as forum and profile links, which could enhance the naturalness and diversity of the link-building efforts.

Instead, the client used generic texts created solely to achieve relevance, but which did not provide value for users or search engines. This affected the overall brand image and decreased its appeal to the target audience.
Collaboration results
Over 6 months of working with NeedMyLink, the site significantly increased DR, traffic grew, and key positions improved. We carefully selected donor platforms, focusing on high traffic (1000+) and domain ratings (30+). We would like to emphasize once again that it is very important to carefully select authoritative IT portals and resources in the web development field that are highly relevant to our audience’s interests. This not only expands coverage but also significantly increases the quality of backlinks.
Additionally, we established contacts with several successful SaaS projects, including task management platforms, marketing tools, and analytics services that have been on the market for over 2 years. This is also an important factor. These are the pages where we placed links.

In this screenshot, you can see an example of our guest posting on a niche resource with over 5000 traffic per month. The publication of an article about frontend development on a site specializing in development news and analytics helped us significantly improve trust in the site. This approach helped distinguish us from the competition.

Considering the client’s issue with an insufficiently natural backlink profile, we posted articles on forums and communities related to web development. We arranged mentions and comments on popular IT forums with traffic over 1000+ (traffic below this value generally doesn’t provide significant benefits in this case).
